Grace Kids

We believe children are a blessing from God and we as parents, grandparents and fellow believers in Jesus are to steward them. We cover our children in prayer at all stages of their lives. We lead and teach them the way of Jesus. We encourage them in the Spirit-filled life. We believe children have the same Holy Spirit as adults and can grow in His fruit and function in His gifts as He calls them.

For these reasons, children stay with parents during worship in Sunday morning services. They are encouraged to sing, dance, wave flags, soak in the presence of God and follow Holy Spirit’s promptings. We have paper and coloring supplies available for them to express what God shows them. There are also prayer silks for use during worship. 

After worship children go with one of our volunteers to Kids Class. They spend time hearing scripture, learning about Jesus and praying over their concerns. 

Our volunteers are all mature Christians who have a deep relationship with Jesus and lead with compassion and love for the children in their care. 

The Kids Class rejoins Sunday service each week to participate in Holy Communion and corporate prayer.
